The closest scuba diving from Bangkok is about a 2 hour drive. Pattaya has several good wreck dives including the Hardeep featured below. There are some excellent reef dives as well. Koh Manwichai is one of my favorites. Diving is assessable all year and at a cozy 29 celsius/84 fahrenheit on average.
